About Me
Education
I graduated from Mt. Juliet High School right outside of Nashville, Tennessee. I attended Middle Tennessee State University where I received my degree in Elementary Education grades 1-8. When I came to Mississippi I received a license to teach Elementary Education grades K-3, Elementary grades 4-8 and Mildly / Moderate Disabilities K-12. I now have my Master's degree in Special Education from Arkansas State University.
Experience
I have taught in Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Mississippi. I ran my own daycare center and was the lead teacher at a daycare, that at the the time was licensed to be the largest daycare in the country. I was the MET Chairperson over the Special Education Department for 10 years. I now have my Master's in Special Education.
Bio
Hello, My name is Virginia "Ginny" Frey. I have been teaching at Chickasaw for 18 years in the self-contained Special Education room and have loved every minute of it. Before that I taught in Tennessee and Pennsylvania. I live in Olive Branch with my husband, Bobby, of 33 years and my daughter Samantha who graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ole Miss. She has just graduated from American University in Washington, D.C. in Strategic Communication for her graduate work. I am so very proud of her. She has worked very hard and is a wonderful person. Chickasaw has been a great place to work, where I have been blessed with great collegues and precious students.
Mrs. Jodi
Mrs. Jodi has been a great addition to our classroom. She is married with two very sweet boys that attend Olive Branch Middle School.Mrs Jodi is great with our students and they absolutely love her. Please come by and meet her.
